Philadelphia neighborhoods

CG Properties owns and manages apartments in two parts of Philadelphia: North Philadelphia near Temple University, and South Philadelphia. Here’s a quick look at what it’s like to live in each.

North Philadelphia — near Temple University

Our North Philadelphia homes sit within easy reach of Temple University’s main campus, making them a natural fit for students, grad students, and anyone who wants to be close to campus life. Cecil B. Moore Avenue anchors the area with cafes, takeout, and everyday essentials.

Getting around is simple: SEPTA’s Broad Street Line and Regional Rail both serve the Temple area and put Center City just minutes away. Most of our homes here are newly built, with in-unit laundry, central air, and private outdoor space — a clear step up from the typical off-campus rental.

South Philadelphia

South Philadelphia is classic rowhome Philadelphia — tree-lined residential blocks, corner cafes, and one of the best food scenes in the city, from the historic Italian Market on 9th Street to the restaurants of East Passyunk. Our homes here cluster around the Point Breeze and Newbold neighborhoods.

It’s well connected, too: the Broad Street Line runs straight up to Center City, and green space like FDR Park and the river trails are close by. Expect quieter, neighborhood living with quick access to the rest of the city.
